Toree: a two-sided booking platform where providers keep 95%
Toree is a two-sided booking platform Nabee Studio designed, engineered, and shipped. Providers publish classes and get paid; families book spots and keep the schedule straight; and Toree AI acts as a front office on autopilot. Providers keep 95% of every booking, with no subscription.
The problem
Independent providers spend more time on admin than teaching: chasing confirmations by text, tracking who paid, and keeping a schedule straight across multiple families and kids.
Families have the mirror-image problem: juggling classes, spots, and payments across providers. Toree had to serve both sides in one loop, move real money, and cost providers as little as possible.
What we built
Toree isn't a landing page. It's a full booking platform Nabee designed, engineered, and shipped: two account types, real money movement, and an AI front office.
- A booking engine with spot limits, waitlists, and one shareable booking link, with real-time availability so double-booking is impossible.
- Secure in-app payments and payouts, with package and per-session billing, and providers keeping 95% of every dollar.
- Toree AI, a front-office assistant that answers family questions and handles scheduling chatter so the provider stays out of their inbox.
- Rosters and attendance in one workspace, with every student, class, and payment, and history that syncs for both sides.
- Automatic schedule reminders so families show up and providers stop chasing confirmations.
- A dedicated families side with a color-coded weekly calendar and in-app payment, and a multi-language product from front door to dashboard.
How was it built?
One team at Nabee owned the whole arc, from idea and strategy through brand, design, build, and ship, with no account managers or middle layers.
Idea & strategy
The strategy started from the math: no subscription and no setup fee, with providers keeping 95% of every payment, a model designed so the pricing itself is the pitch.
Brand & design
Nabee designed a single booking loop for both sides (a provider publishes a class, a family reserves a spot) and clean weekly views so the schedule sells itself.
Build
Full-stack engineering delivered two account types, the real-time booking engine, secure payments and payouts, the Toree AI assistant, notifications, and a multi-language product.
Ship & maintain
Toree launched as a live platform and is maintained by the same team that built it: the studio that owned strategy through ship.
Where it stands
Toree is live as a full two-sided platform: a booking engine, secure payments and payouts, rosters and attendance, reminders, and the Toree AI front office.
Providers keep 95% of every booking, and there is no subscription. The product ships in multiple languages from the front door to the dashboard.
